SOAP Hand Car Wash ("we", "us") operates this website for our hand car wash locations in Houston, Texas. We keep things simple: we do not sell your information, we do not run online booking or customer accounts, and the only personal details we collect are the ones you choose to send us.
Information you send us
When you use the contact form we receive the name, email address, phone number, message and preferred location you enter. The form is delivered to us by email through Resend, an email delivery service, and is protected against automated spam by Cloudflare Turnstile, which may process your IP address and browser details to confirm you are a person. We use what you send only to reply to you and to serve you at our locations. We keep it as long as we need to handle your request and our records.
Our marketing partner, Social Habit Marketing, receives copies of contact form submissions so they can help us respond. They act on our behalf and do not use your details for their own purposes.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we use a small number of third party tools to understand how the site is used and how our advertising performs. Each may set cookies or use similar technologies in your browser.
- Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics. Used to load our measurement tools and to report anonymous usage statistics such as which pages are visited and from where. Google's practices are described at policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Microsoft Clarity. Records how visitors interact with pages (clicks, scrolling, mouse movement) as session replays and heatmaps so we can improve the site. Text you type into the contact form is masked. Microsoft's practices are described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
- Meta Pixel. Measures whether our Facebook and Instagram advertising brings people to the site, and may be used to show you relevant ads on those platforms. Meta's practices are described at facebook.com/privacy/policy. You can adjust ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings.
These tools load after you first interact with the page, or a few seconds after it opens. Blocking third party scripts or cookies in your browser will stop them without affecting the rest of the site.
Information stored in your browser
The site stores a few small preferences on your own device so it works better on return visits: the vehicle size you last selected on the pricing table, whether you closed today's special offer popup, and, if you tap "Find the nearest to me" and allow location access, which of our locations is closest to you. Your location is used only in your browser to pick a store and is never sent to us. Clearing your browser storage removes all of these.
Links to other sites
Address links open Google Maps or Apple Maps, and social icons open Instagram and Facebook. Those services have their own privacy policies.
Children
This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Your choices and rights
You may ask us to see, correct or delete the information you have sent us at any time. Texas residents may also have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act. To make a request, email us at soaprich@icloud.com or use the contact form, and we will respond as soon as we reasonably can.
